6 de noviembre de 2026 · 25m
In Friday’s episode of The Daily T, Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley are joined by Nigel Farage as they visit London’s Royal Parks’ war memorials to remember the fallen before Remembrance Day.
At the Bomber Command memorial in Green Park, the Reform UK leader tells Camilla and Tim about his paternal grandfather, Harry, and how he learnt of his First World War service records through archives at Kew. He discusses the trauma experienced by veterans and the difficulties they face readjusting to civilian life after serving in conflict.
Farage also discusses his commitment to the Armed Forces and stresses the importance of teaching the full history of both world wars, including Britain’s role in the conflicts, as part of the national curriculum.
Visiting the Australian War Memorial in Hyde Park, the party leader reflects on his efforts to secure Reform UK representation at the Cenotaph, and praises Winston Churchill’s courageous wartime leadership.
