I mai 2011 forsvinner Amy Pitzen, og tar med seg sønnen Timmothy. Ingen vet hvor de er, og når Amy blir funnet død på et motellrom sammen med en kryptisk beskjed om hvor Timmothy befinner seg, begynner letingen etter den lille gutten.
