JD Vance on 2028, Clancy Juror Dispute, NBA's LA Clippers Hit With Major Penalties: AM Update 9/4

Vice President JD Vance hosted the first White House press briefing since Karoline Leavitt’s departure, taking questions on the midterms, 2028, data centers, 9/11 and the Supreme Court.  The Lindsay Clancy jury entered a seventh day of deliberations after the judge rejected a defense request to remove a juror accused of refusing to follow the law on reasonable doubt. The NBA stripped the Los Angeles Clippers of five first-round draft picks, imposed a record $30 million fine and suspended owner Steve Ballmer over an alleged scheme to funnel extra compensation to star player Kawhi Leonard. Gloria Steinem, the influential journalist and activist who helped shape the modern feminist movement, died at 92.
