Worse than Corbyn: the fall of Zack Polanski
9. oktober 2026 · 28m
Today’s episode of The Daily T reacts to Zack Polanski’s defeat in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election and whether or not this will lead to the Green Party leader being ousted. They discuss how much damage last week’s “Zionism is Racism” motion had done to the party and Mr Polanski’s absence has undermined his reputation and standing within the party.
Tim considers whether despite defeat in the by-election the result cements the Green Party as the Labour alternative for Left-wing voters.
They also discuss whether this result energises the Labour Party and that Polanski remaining in charge is a boost for Andy Burnham, and could lead to the Prime Minister calling an early general election.
