Toadie becomes suspicious of Sarahs hot and cold moods and confronts her, he has his own suspicions. Sarah brushes him off, but Toadies concerns are aroused even further by her excuses. Toadie finally finds Sarah in an emotional state and she opens up to him. She is still in love with Karl, she can't marry Peter, but she doesn't know what to do.
