When Cain makes it clear that going to the police will do her no good, she confides everything in Declan, whose own stories back up what Cain told her. Both stunned by what they now know, they wonder what to do next. Under pressure Rhona agrees to move in with Marlon. She and Paddy are thrown when Marlon gets down on one knee, holding a ring box, but inside is a house key. Eve and Carl continue to take risks, kissing at Katie's party while everyone else is outside listening to a drunken Brenda. Andy is annoyed to learn about the party, and then about Rhona moving out; he makes awkward eye contact with Adele while taking out the bins. Leyla continues to distance herself from David, even turning down a trip.
