Will our opinion of Meghan change in light of shocking Thomas Markle Sr allegations?
23 de octubre de 2026 · 20m
On Friday’s episode of The Daily T, Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley react to the news that Thomas Markle Sr, the Duchess of Sussex’s estranged father, is being investigated for allegedly possessing child abuse images.
They examine whether the Duchess’s previous behaviour and the decision to distance herself from her father is more understandable, and ask whether there is a need to reevaluate the way her relationship with her family is viewed. Our presenters also discuss the press’s relationship with the Markle family, and the fractious dynamic between the Duchess of Sussex and her two half-siblings, Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Jr.
On Friday, Mr Markle Sr denied the allegations.
